The dharma realm is undifferentiated, and bodies and lands are equal; since there is not even a Buddha way to achieve, how could there be sentient beings to liberate? Thus, giving rise to a mind to liberate sentient beings and practicing the cultivation that adorns lands is merely the view of ordinary persons; such a one is not called a bodhisattva. In the final analysis, what kind of mind must be generated to be called a bodhisattva? Therefore it is said: one who can thoroughly realize the dharma of non-self is a true bodhisattva.
