此一段文雖證釋離於法執，亦是總結降住正行。由經初善現請問：「若人發無上菩提心者，應云何住？云何降伏其心？」如來答云：「應如是住，如是降伏其心。」故今結云：「發菩提心者，於一切法如是知見信解」，此結如是住也；不生法相，此結降伏妄心也。

Although this passage proves and explains the elimination of grasping onto dharmas, it also summarizes the correct practices of subduing and abiding. Because at the beginning of the sūtra Subhūti asked: "If someone gives rise to the mind of unsurpassed bodhi, how should they abide, and how should they subdue their minds?" the Tathāgata answered: "They should abide thus, and thus subdue their minds." Therefore, it now concludes: "Those who give rise to the mind of bodhi should thus know, see, and faithfully understand all dharmas"—this concludes "abiding thus." "Not giving rise to the marks of dharmas" concludes subduing the deluded mind.
