「何以故？是諸眾生若心取相，則為著我、人、眾生、壽者；若取法相，則著我、人、眾生、壽者。何以故？若取非法相，則著我、人、眾生、壽者。」
"Why is this? If the minds of these sentient beings grasp at marks, they will be attached to a self, a person, a sentient being, and a life-span. If they grasp at the marks of dharmas, they will be attached to a self, a person, a sentient being, and a life-span. Why is this? If they grasp at the marks of non-dharmas, they will be attached to a self, a person, a sentient being, and a life-span."
