第二文中有四：初正時集眾。二爾時慧命已下，為請法方便。三白佛希有下，讚佛具德。四世尊云何下，正明請問以顯發起。此問有四：初一總顯發心之相。二問所住之理，即顯問實相般若。三問能修行，即問觀照般若。四問降伏心，即調伏方便，即問文字般若。下答準之。

The second passage has four parts: first, gathering the assembly at the proper time. Second, from 'At that time, the Venerable...' onward is the expedient for requesting the Dharma. Third, from 'said to the Buddha: Rare...' onward praises the Buddha's complete virtues. Fourth, from 'World-Honored One, how...' onward directly clarifies the question to reveal the initiation. This question has four parts: first, a general revelation of the aspect of generating the mind. Second, asking about the principle in which one abides directly reveals the question concerning true-mark prajñā. Third, asking about what can be practiced asks about contemplative prajñā. Fourth, asking about subduing the mind concerns the expedients of subduing, asking about literary prajñā. The answers below correspond accordingly.
