就第二、德用文中，大分有四：初於意云何東方虛空可思量不等，明三種般若德用分量；二須菩提可以相成就下，明德用離相；三須菩提白佛言世尊已下，顯三種般若德用功能；四須菩提是諸菩薩生如是無量福德聚已下，顯三種般若甚深。

Within the second passage, on virtues and functions, there are broadly four parts: first, from "What do you think? Can the space in the eastern direction be conceived or not?" and so forth, clarifying the measure of the virtues and functions of the three kinds of prajñā; second, from "Subhūti, can [the Tathāgata] be seen by means of the perfection of marks?" onward, clarifying that virtues and functions are free from marks; third, from "Subhūti said to the Buddha: World-Honored One..." onward, revealing the efficacy of the virtues and functions of the three kinds of prajñā; fourth, from "Subhūti, these bodhisattvas generate such an immeasurable heap of merit..." onward, revealing the profound depth of the three kinds of prajñā.
