1.48

「何以故？須菩提！是諸菩薩無復我相、眾生相、人相、壽者相。須菩提！是諸菩薩無法相亦非無法相，無相亦非無相。何以故？須菩提！是諸菩薩若取法相，則為著我人眾生壽者。」

"Why is this? Subhūti, these bodhisattvas no longer have the notion of a self, the notion of a sentient being, the notion of a person, or the notion of a life-span. Subhūti, these bodhisattvas have no mark of a dharma, nor do they have the mark of no-dharma; they have no marks, nor do they have no-marks. Why is this? Subhūti, if these bodhisattvas were to grasp the mark of a dharma, they would then be attached to a self, a person, a sentient being, and a life-span."
