2.28

「須菩提！三千大千世界中所有諸須彌山王，如是等七寶聚，有人持用布施；若人以此般若波羅蜜經乃至四句偈等，受持讀誦為他人說，於前福德百分不及一、千分不及一、百千萬分不及一、歌羅分不及一、數分不及一、優波尼沙陀分不及一，乃至算數譬喻所不能及。」

"Subhūti, if there were a person who took heaps of the seven jewels equal to all the Mount Sumeru kings in the great trichiliocosm and gave them in charity; and if a person takes even as little as a four-line gāthā of this Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, accepts, upholds, reads, recites, and explains it for others, then compared to the former merit, it does not reach one-hundredth part, does not reach one-thousandth part, does not reach one-hundred-thousand-myriadth part, does not reach one kalā part, does not reach one count part, does not reach one upaniṣad part, even unto being beyond the reach of calculation and analogy."
