2.35

初文有五：初審定可不；二須菩提下，答顯實義；三佛言如是下，述成正義；四佛言須菩提下，反成顯過；五是故非以相下，順結也。

The first text has five parts: first, verifying whether it is permissible or not; second, from 'Subhūti' downward, the reply revealing the real meaning; third, from 'The Buddha said: Just so' downward, endorsing and establishing the correct meaning; fourth, from 'The Buddha said: Subhūti' downward, inversely establishing and showing the fault; fifth, from 'therefore, not through the marks...' downward, concluding in accordance [with the argument].
