問：解脫、勝處、遍處何別？答：有棄背名解脫，能降境界名勝處，能廣能勝境名遍處云云。

Question: What is the difference among liberations, spheres of mastery, and spheres of totality? Answer: Having the ability to turn away from and abandon is called liberation; being able to subdue the objective realm is called a sphere of mastery; being able to expand and master the objective realm is called a sphere of totality, and so forth.
