From "Great king, when the state is in disorder" onward, the fourth clarifies the calamities guarded against. The text has three parts: first, clarifying the eight calamities of ghosts and humans: 1, disorder of ghosts; 2, disorder of the populace; 3, coming of bandits; 4, death and mourning of the common people; 5, conflict between ruler and ministers; 6, strange anomalies of heaven and earth; 7, celestial bodies losing their regularity; and 8, sun and moon losing their regularity. Regarding the twenty-eight lunar mansions, the "Chapter on Gathering and Upholding" in the *Mahāsaṃnipāta Sūtra* states: "The seven stars of the east are Jiǎo, Kàng, Dǐ, Fáng, Xīn, Wěi, and Jī. The seven lunar mansions of the south are Jǐng, Guǐ, Liǔ, Xīng, Zhāng, Yì, and Zhěn. The seven lunar mansions of the west are Kuí, Lóu, Wèi, Mǎo, Bì, Zī, and Shēn. The seven lunar mansions of the north are Dǒu, Niú, Nǚ, Xū, Wēi, Shì, and Bì."
