佛告波斯匿王：「我當滅度後，法欲滅盡時，諸國王等皆應受持是般若波羅蜜，大作佛事，一切國土安立、萬姓快樂，皆由此般若波羅蜜。」
The Buddha told King Prasenajit: "After my nirvāṇa, when the Dharma is about to be extinguished, the kings of states and others should all uphold this prajñāpāramitā and perform great Buddha-works; that all lands are secure and the myriad common people enjoy happiness are all due to this prajñāpāramitā."
