3.16

「大王！昔日有王釋提桓因，為頂生王來上天，上欲滅其國。時帝釋天王即如七佛法用，敷百高座，請百法師，講說般若波羅蜜，頂生即退，如《滅罪經》中說。」

"Great King! In the past, there was a king named Śakra Devānām Indra. Because King Mūrdhagata came up to the heavens, ascending with the desire to destroy his kingdom, at that time Śakra, the heavenly king, in accordance with the ritual method of the seven buddhas, arranged one hundred high seats and invited one hundred Dharma masters to expound the prajñāpāramitā. Mūrdhagata immediately retreated, as explained in the Sūtra on Eradicating Sins."
