「大王！昔日有王釋提桓因，為頂生王來上天欲滅其國。時帝釋天王即如七佛法用，敷百高座，請百法師，講般若波羅蜜。頂生即退，如滅罪經中說。

"Great King! In ancient times there was a king, Śakra Devānām Indra. King Māndhātṛ came up to heaven wishing to destroy his realm. At that time, Devendra Śakra followed the ritual method of the seven buddhas: he set out one hundred high seats, invited one hundred dharma masters, and had them lecture on the prajñāpāramitā. Māndhātṛ thereupon retreated, as told in the Sūtra on Eradicating Sins.
