3.22

「『生老病死，輪轉無際，事與願違，憂悲為害。欲深禍重，瘡疣無外，三界皆苦，國有何賴？』」

“‘Birth, old age, sickness, and death
Revolve in a cycle without boundary;
Matters run contrary to desires,
And sorrow and grief cause harm.
Desires are deep and disasters heavy;
Sores and tumors are not external.
The three realms are all suffering—
What reliance can a kingdom offer?’“
