3.33

大王十六大國下，品中大段第三勸持。有三：初勸十六國王受持；二天上人中下，勸六道眾生受持；三無量小國王下，勸諸小國王受持。第三勸持訖。

From “Great King! The sixteen great kingdoms…” onwards is the third major section within the chapter: exhorting to uphold. It has three [parts]: first, it exhorts the kings of the sixteen kingdoms to accept and uphold it; second, from “Among heavenly beings and humans…” onwards, it exhorts the sentient beings of the six destinies to accept and uphold it; third, from “Immeasurable kings of small kingdoms…” onwards, it exhorts the kings of small kingdoms to accept and uphold it. The third [section], exhorting to uphold, is finished.
