將釋此品，略有二義：一釋品名、二正釋文。釋品名者，依《智度論》，由信力故，聞而奉行為受；由念力故，久久不失為持。此品正明十三法師受持般若，又令他受，名受持品。

About to explain this chapter, there are briefly two points: first, explaining the chapter's title; second, properly explaining the text. Regarding the explanation of the chapter's title: relying on the Dazhidulun, through the power of faith, hearing and practicing reverently is "receiving"; through the power of mindfulness, not losing it over a long time is "upholding." This chapter properly clarifies the thirteen Dharma masters receiving and upholding prajñā and causing others to receive it; hence it is named the Chapter on Receiving and Upholding.
