解曰：大覺世尊，無漏假者。前已為我等者，謂見已前。說諸般若摩訶等者，摩訶云大，謂《大般若》。《金剛般若》即第九會。《天王問》者，即第六會。言《大品》者，即第二會，萬八千頌波羅蜜多。所言等者，等餘一切塵沙數等諸般若矣。謂前所見說諸般若皆有瑞相，故今生疑。斯作何事？即其意也。從此第二仁王思念。

Exposition: 'The Greatly Awakened World-Honoured One' is the untainted nominal person. 'Previously preached for us' refers to before this present meeting. 'Preached the various prajñās, the Mahā, and so on': *mahā* means great, referring to the *Mahāprajñāpāramitā*. The *Vajracchedikā Prajñāpāramitā* is the ninth assembly. 'The Questions of the Heavenly King' is the sixth assembly. 'The Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā' (*Dapin*) is the second assembly, the prajñāpāramitā of eighteen thousand verses. The word 'and so on' encompasses all other prajñās as numerous as the sands of dust. That is to say, previously seen preachings of the various prajñās all had auspicious portents, hence doubt now arises. 'For what purpose is this done?' reveals their intention. Hereafter follows the second part, the reflection of the benevolent king.
