三科判者，總科內護三品經文，大分三段：第一總標，從「爾時世尊從三昧起至云何護佛果云何護十地行」為初段也。第二別答，從「佛告波斯匿王言護佛果者」至〈二諦品〉末云「大王菩薩摩訶薩護佛果護十地行護化有情為此也」，廣明因果，為別答也。第三總結，從「波斯匿王白佛言真理是一」下至卷終一紙經文，為總結也。至文當悉。別科三品。解此品者，於中分三：一標二護、二明問答、三明獲益。就初標中，文分為五：且初第一從三昧起。其義者何？
