解曰：靡者，無也。蓋無盈縮，顯說當根不減不增。總標二護大文第二問答釋成。於中分二：初波斯匿問、後如來正答。且初第一總問者何？

Exposition: "None" (mi) means "not any" (wu). The canopy had no surplus or deficiency, showing that the teaching corresponds to the faculties without decrease or increase. Regarding the general indication of the two protections, the second major section is the explanation accomplished through questions and answers.
