經：「由此得為眾生之本，亦是諸佛菩薩行本，是為菩薩本所修行五忍法中十四忍也。」
The sūtra: 'Because of this, it is able to be the root of sentient beings and is also the root of practice of the Buddhas and bodhisattvas; this is the fourteen kṣāntis among the five kṣānti dharmas originally cultivated by the bodhisattvas.'
