一、遣虛存實。觀遍計所執唯虛妄起，都無體用，應正遣除；觀依他、圓成諸法體實，二智境界，應存為有。如有頌言：

First: dismissing the false and retaining the real. One contemplates that the parikalpita is only falsely arisen, entirely without substance or function, and should be directly dismissed; one contemplates that the other-dependent and fully perfected dharmas are real in substance, the sphere of the two wisdoms, and should be retained as existent.
