1.57

此位菩薩雖得修觀，猶帶相故，未能證實；通達位中，無分別智於所緣境都無所得，理、智既冥，心、境玄會，有、空之相時不現前，唯識真理方名證得。故本頌言：

Although the bodhisattva at this stage attains the contemplation of cultivation, because it still carries characteristics, they cannot yet realize the real. In the path of insight (darśana-mārga), non-discriminative wisdom attains nothing whatsoever with respect to the cognized object; principle and wisdom having merged, and mind and object profoundly uniting, the characteristics of existence and emptiness do not appear at that time: only then is the true principle of consciousness-only said to be realized. Therefore the root verse says:
