1.79

慧即於境如理簡擇。此有三種，一、於所知隨覺真慧，謂於無我真勝義中平等明覺。二、於五明三聚妙慧，謂攝受此能速圓滿智資糧覺。三、作有情諸義利慧，謂助伴等俱行妙覺，學內明處，淨慧為依，示現愚癡，教導放逸，讚勵怯弱，慶慰勤修。

Wisdom is the correct discernment of objects in accordance with principle. This has three kinds: First, true wisdom that accords with the realization of the knowable, which refers to the equal and clear realization within the true paramārtha of selflessness. Second, wonderful wisdom regarding the five sciences and the three aggregates [of precepts], which refers to the awareness that embraces this and can swiftly fulfill the accumulation of knowledge. Third, wisdom that performs all benefits for sentient beings, which refers to the wonderful awareness accompanying assistance and the like, relying on pure wisdom while studying the inner science, manifesting foolishness, instructing the negligent, praising and encouraging the timid, and rejoicing with and comforting those who cultivate diligently.
