如應者言，慈氏尊說此於染淨皆有順逆，雜染順觀依於生死流轉法說，逆依世間加行法說；清淨順觀依於根本斷障法說，逆依斷已重觀法說。

The proponent of Conformity says: The Venerable Maitreya taught that with respect to defilement and purification, this has both direct and reverse orders: the direct contemplation of defilement is explained based on the dharma of the cycle of birth and death, while the reverse contemplation is explained based on the dharma of worldly preparatory practice; the direct contemplation of purification is explained based on the dharma of the fundamental eradication of hindrances, while the reverse contemplation is explained based on the dharma of re-contemplating after eradication.
