Saṃskṛta phenomena are not even determinate aggregates; by what principle could grasped aggregates and so forth be established as real? The dharmatā is empty suchness, and therefore does not have the marks of the aggregates; therefore, in emptiness the five aggregates are completely absent. The Great Sūtra further says: 'Furthermore, Śāriputra! When bodhisattvas practice the prajñāpāramitā, they should contemplate thus: "bodhisattva" is merely a name, "prajñāpāramitā" is merely a name, "form, feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness" are merely names,' and so on at length.
