問：「標宗得果，但說涅槃，引例證成唯菩提者，以覺證滅，豈不相違？」答：「理實皆通智、斷二德，各據一義，影略互顯。」

Question: "In presenting the tenet regarding attaining the fruit, only nirvāṇa was stated; in citing examples to corroborate and establish [it], only bodhi is mentioned; using awakening to verify cessation, does this not conflict?" Answer: "In principle and reality, both encompass the two virtues of wisdom and abandonment; each relies on one meaning, implicitly mutually revealing the other."
