2.41

經「故」下，大文第五、結歎勝能，二：先、別歎勝德，二：初、唱經，二、演釋，二：初、牒前起後。「由佛」下，顯經意。「歎其」下，二、略歎四德，三：一、就法釋。二、約功能釋。行滿故無有過上，德圓故與無等齊等也。「三就」下，三、就位釋。引論中「比餘」下，釋無等字。「重言」等下，釋後等言也。

From the sūtra’s “therefore…” downwards is the fifth major section, concluding with praise of its supreme power, which has two parts: first, separately praising its supreme virtues, which has two: first, citing the sūtra; second, elaborating the explanation, which has two: first, taking up the preceding to introduce what follows. From “Due to the Buddha…” downwards, revealing the sūtra’s intent. From “Praising its…” downwards is the second, briefly praising the four virtues, which has three: first, explaining in terms of dharma; second, explaining in terms of function: because practice is fulfilled, there is nothing surpassing it, and because virtue is complete, it is equal to the unequalled. From “Third, in terms of…” downwards is the third, explaining in terms of stage. In citing the treatise, from “compared to others…” downwards, it explains the words “unequalled.” From “Repeating the word…” downwards, it explains the subsequent word “equal”.
