「佛說此經已」下，此是第二瑞相，只說《無量義經》竟仍入定之意，為欲譬坐令彌勒問於文殊，若不入定，彌勒便應問佛，是故入定興問有由也。

From 'After the Buddha expounded this sūtra' downward is the second auspicious omen. The intention behind entering samādhi right after completing the exposition of the *Anantanirdeśa Sūtra* was to use sitting [in meditation] as an occasion to prompt Maitreya to question Mañjuśrī; had he not entered samādhi, Maitreya would have simply questioned the Buddha. Therefore, entering samādhi gave rise to a reason for the question.
