問者言：「若爾者，無學人必應在前大乘機發，七種學人必應在後大乘機發，解亦應爾。」解釋者言：「本不定判無學人必應在前大乘機發，學人必應在後。問者所論據人有勝劣，學人為劣、無學人為勝也。」

The questioner says: “If so, non-learners must inevitably have their capacity for the Great Vehicle arise first, and the seven kinds of learners must inevitably have their capacity for the Great Vehicle arise later; the explanation should also be so.” The commentator says: “Fundamentally, there is no definitive determination that non-learners must inevitably have their capacity for the Great Vehicle arise first and learners must inevitably be later. What the questioner discussed is based on persons being superior or inferior: learners are inferior, and non-learners are superior.”
