問言：「界內界外相貌云何？而當高下為異、隔礙作談論。」解釋者言：「夫內外分流未必縱談勝負、橫語優劣，直是果報隔絕，稱之內外也。」

The question says: "What are the characteristics of within the realm and outside the realm, such that they should be differentiated as higher and lower and spoken of in terms of mutual obstruction?" The interpreter says: "Now, the branching into inside and outside is not necessarily a vertical discussion of superiority and inferiority, nor a horizontal discourse on better and worse; it is simply that retribution is severed and separated, and so it is called inside and outside."
