From "The elder is vastly rich" downwards, there are seven and a half verses versifying the eighth parable of bestowing the great cart, which is the preaching of the Lotus Sūtra. In the above parable there were originally two sections: the first simultaneously opened two main headings, and the second simultaneously elaborated on the two main headings. Now the seven and a half verses are also divided into two: the first seven verses first versify the second section above that elaborated on the headings, and the remaining half-verse retrospectively versifies the opening of the two headings. Furthermore, among these verses of elaboration, they only versify the elaboration of the one great cart, not the elaboration of the impartiality of mind. But the elaboration of the great cart originally had two parts: the first was the direct elaboration, and the second was explaining the elaboration. Now, the first one and a half verses first versify the explanation of the elaboration of the great cart, which is "Why is this? This elder has boundless wealth and riches." The five and a half verses from "Adorned and decorated" downwards retrospectively versify the above direct elaboration of the great cart, where it said above, "That cart is tall and broad, adorned with many jewels." The half-verse below "With such a wondrous cart" is the second, retrospectively versifying the above opening of the two headings; this single line first versifies the heading of the one great cart. Next, the line "Equally bestows it upon the sons" retrospectively versifies the heading of impartiality of mind.
