6.20

「我等又因如來智慧」此下三句合第六付財物譬。上譬中本有二，一者父付，二者子受，父付中有三階，今者不合也。子受中又有三階，今具足合之。今言「我等又因如來智慧」，此即合上第一「爾時窮子即受教勅」也。「為諸菩薩開示顯說」此下，即合上第二階「領知眾物及諸庫藏」也。「而自於此無有志願」下訖「隨我等說」，即合上第三階「而無悕取一飡之意」也。

From "We, moreover, relying on the Tathāgata's wisdom" down, three lines match the sixth parable, of entrusting the property. In the parable above there were originally two parts: first, the father entrusting; second, the son receiving. In the father entrusting there were three steps, which are not matched now. In the son receiving there were also three steps, which are fully matched now. Now saying, "We, moreover, relying on the Tathāgata's wisdom," matches the first above, "At that time the poor son then accepted the instructions." From "expounding, revealing, and fully explaining for the sake of the bodhisattvas" down matches the second step above, "taking charge of and knowing the various goods and treasure storehouses." From "yet we ourselves had no aspiration or wish regarding this" down to "in accordance with what we preached" matches the third step above, "yet having no thought of hoping to take even a single meal's worth."
