1.114

心本無名，亦無無名。心名不生，亦復不滅，心即實相。初觀為因，觀成為果。以觀心故，惡覺不起。心數塵勞，若同若異，皆被化而轉，是為觀心。標五章竟。

The mind is originally nameless, nor is it without a name. The mind's name is neither produced nor destroyed; the mind is none other than the true mark. Initial contemplation is the cause, and the completion of contemplation is the fruit. Because of contemplating the mind, unwholesome awareness does not arise. The mental concomitants and defilements, whether identical or different, are all transformed and converted; this is contemplation of the mind. This concludes the headings of the five chapters.
