次約三法論開合者，即是於一佛乘，方便說三。既知息已，滅却化城，亦是約三善，聲聞為下善（云云）。

Next, discussing opening and merging in terms of three dharmas: that is, within the one buddha-yāna, expedients are used to speak of three. Once knowing that they have rested, the conjured city is extinguished; this is also in terms of the three kinds of goodness, with the śrāvaka as the inferior goodness (and so forth).
