10.51

若言第四時同歸之教，唯得萬善同歸一乘之名，不得萬善同歸一乘之所。所者，即佛性。同歸常住等也。秖得會三歸一，不得會五歸一，不得會七歸一；唯得歸於一，不得歸佛性常住，有如此等失（云云）。

If one says that in the fourth period was the teaching of universal convergence, it captures only the name of the ten thousand good deeds converging in the One Vehicle, but does not capture the locus to which the ten thousand good deeds converge in the One Vehicle. That locus is buddha-nature, converging into the eternally abiding, and so on. It only manages to unite the three into the one, but does not manage to unite the five into the one, nor unite the seven into the one; it only manages to converge into the one, but does not manage to converge into the eternal abiding of buddha-nature. It has flaws such as these, and so forth.
