2.26

如是果者，習果也。如多欲人受地獄身，見苦具，謂為欲境，便起染愛，謂此為習果也。

As for 'such effect', it is the habitual effect. Just as a person of great lust receives a hellish body and, seeing instruments of suffering, supposes them to be objects of desire and immediately gives rise to defiled attachment—this is called the habitual effect.
