Regarding the profundity of the dharmas of mind: as in the chapter 'Comfortable Conduct', cultivating and gathering one's mind, one contemplates all dharmas as unmoving and non-regressing. There is also the single moment of rejoicing, and so forth. The Samantabhadra-dhyāna-sūtra says: 'My mind is inherently empty; sin and merit have no master,' and 'Contemplating the mind, there is no mind; dharmas do not abide in dharmas.' It also says: 'Mind is purely Dharma.' The Vimalakīrtinirdeśa says: 'Contemplating the real mark of the body, one contemplates the Buddha likewise. The liberation of all buddhas should be sought within the mental conduct of sentient beings.' The Avataṃsaka-sūtra says: 'Mind, buddha, and sentient beings—these three are without distinction,' and 'Breaking open a fine atom of the mind brings forth scrolls of sūtras of a trichiliocosm.' This is called the profundity of the dharmas of mind.
