4.120

不殺戒，生四天處。不殺、不盜，生三十三天。加不婬，生焰摩天。加不口四過，生兜率天。又加世間戒，復信奉佛七戒，生化樂、他化兩天。所持戒轉勝，天身福命轉勝。又隨心持戒，思心勝者，其福轉勝。

By the precept against killing, one is born in the realm of the Four Heavenly Kings. By not killing and not stealing, one is born in the Heaven of the Thirty-Three. Adding not being unchaste, one is born in the Yāma Heaven. Adding the absence of the four faults of speech, one is born in Tuṣita Heaven. Adding further worldly precepts, and also faithfully observing the Buddha's seven precepts, one is born in the two heavens of Nirmāṇarati and Paranirmitavaśavartin. As the precepts observed become progressively superior, the celestial bodies, blessings, and lifespans become progressively superior. Furthermore, as one observes precepts according to the mind, if the mental volition is superior, the blessings become progressively superior.
