4.156

若過三僧祇劫，種三十二相業者，準此是下忍之位。用此忍智，行六度成百福德，用百福成一相因，於下忍之位，人中佛出世時得種也。

Passing beyond the three asaṃkhyeya kalpas, planting the karma of the thirty-two marks, in comparison corresponds to the stage of lower patience. Using this patience and wisdom, they practice the six pāramitās to accomplish a hundred merits; using a hundred merits, they accomplish the cause for one mark. In the stage of lower patience, when a buddha appears among humans, they are able to plant [these marks].
