4.63

焰摩天有，用悅意三昧破者，此天處空，無刀杖戰鬪，以之為悅。此是果報中悅，而未有不動業悅，亦無無漏、道種智、中智等悅。菩薩為破諸不悅而修諸行，自成三諦悅意三昧。誓熏法界。有機緣者，以本慈悲，令他意悅，是故三昧名為悅意。餘如上說。

As for the existence of the Yāma Devas being destroyed by the mind-delighting samādhi: these devas dwell in space, free from weapons and combat, and take this as delight. This is delight within retribution, yet they do not have the delight of unmoving karma, nor the delight of the outflow-free, of the wisdom of the paths, of the wisdom of the Middle, and so on. The bodhisattva, in order to destroy all non-delights, cultivates various practices and personally perfects the mind-delighting samādhi of the three truths. His vows perfume the dharma realm. For those who have spiritual capacities and conditions, through his original compassion he causes others' minds to delight; therefore the samādhi is named mind-delighting. The rest is as explained above.
