十地位者，即是無漏真明入無功用道，猶如大地能生一切佛法，荷負法界眾生，普入三世佛地。又證十番智斷，破十品無明，故名十地位也。

The stages of the ten grounds: undefiled true brightness enters the path of effortless action; like the great earth, it can produce all buddhadharmas, bearing the burden of sentient beings in the dharma realm and universally entering the buddha grounds of the three periods of time. One further realizes ten rounds of wisdom and severance, breaking through ten grades of ignorance; hence they are called the stages of the ten grounds.
