五明十地者，無漏真明入無功用道，猶如大地能生一切佛法，荷負法界眾生普入三世佛地，廣大如法界，究竟如虛空。又進破十品無明，成就十品智斷，約此以明十地也。

Fifth, explaining the ten stages: The untainted true brightness enters the path of effortless action; just like the great earth able to produce all Buddha-dharmas, it sustains the sentient beings of the dharmadhātu, universally entering the Buddha stage of the three periods of time, vast as the dharmadhātu, ultimate as empty space. Furthermore, advancing to shatter ten grades of ignorance and accomplishing ten grades of wisdom and severing, the ten stages are explained in this regard.
