5.60

圓教有立、有不立。初照高山，已自是立，於三藏者不立。文云：「始見我身，入如來慧。」即是前立。學小者，今入佛慧，即是後立。中間可知。諸行智有廢、有不廢。諸果位有廢、有不廢。

For the perfect teaching, there is establishing and there is non-establishing. When first illuminating the high mountains, it was already established in itself, but it was not established for those of the tripiṭaka [teaching]. As the text says: "When they first saw my body, they entered the Tathāgata's wisdom"—this is establishing earlier. For those who studied the lesser [vehicle] now entering the buddha's wisdom, this is establishing later. The intermediate stages can be understood from this. Among the various practices and wisdoms, some are abolished and some are not abolished. Among the various fruits and stages, some are abolished and some are not abolished.
