7.18

自有真益非俗益，二乘也。俗益非真益，六度菩薩也。自有先俗益後真益，六度菩薩也。自有先真益後俗益，通菩薩也。自有真俗益非中益，中益非真俗益，別也。自有真益即俗益，亦即中道益，圓也。

There is true benefit that is not conventional benefit—the two vehicles. Conventional benefit that is not true benefit—the six-pāramitā bodhisattvas. There is first conventional benefit and later true benefit—the six-pāramitā bodhisattvas. There is first true benefit and later conventional benefit—the shared [teaching] bodhisattvas. There is true and conventional benefit that is not Middle benefit, and Middle benefit that is not true and conventional benefit—the distinctive [teaching]. There is where true benefit is itself conventional benefit and also itself the Middle Way benefit—the perfect [teaching].
