7.52

若約已今論本迹者，指已為迹，攝得釋迦寂滅道場已來十麁十妙，悉名為迹。指今為本，總遠攝最初本時諸麁諸妙，皆名為本。

If discussing the original source and the traces in terms of the past and the present: designating the past as traces encompasses all the ten coarse and ten subtle [aspects] since Śākyamuni's seat of enlightenment, which are entirely named traces; designating the present as the original source comprehensively encompasses all the coarse and subtle [aspects] of the initial original time from afar, which are all named the original source.
