若理教為本迹者，指理為本，攝得本初之境妙；指教為迹，攝得本時之師教妙，兼得本師十妙。

If regarding principle and teaching as the original source and the traces: designating principle as the original source encompasses the subtlety of the realm of the initial origin; designating teaching as traces encompasses the subtlety of the master's teaching at the original time, concurrently including the ten subtleties of the original master.
