有師云：是顯了明常，與《涅槃》為廣略耳。私謂常為宗者，常無因果，常亦無宗（云云）。

A master said: ‘It clearly reveals permanence, serving as the detailed and summarized [counterpart] to the Nirvāṇa [Sūtra].’ I personally say: if permanence were the central purport, permanence has no cause and effect, and permanence also has no central purport (and so on).
