9.151

住一用三者，此就本誓，如華光作佛，願說三乘，而非惡世。今佛亦於寶藏佛所，願於惡世說此三乘（云云）。但權實大用包括法界，豈止十意而已，為顯十妙之用，故略言十耳。

'Abiding in the one and using the three' concerns original vows. For example, when Padmaprabha becomes a buddha, he vows to preach the tri-yāna, yet it is not an evil world. The present Buddha, at the place of the Buddha Ratnagarbha, also vowed to preach this tri-yāna in an evil world (and so on). However, the great functions of the provisional and the real encompass the dharma realm; how could they be restricted to only ten meanings? To reveal the functions of the ten subtleties, ten are merely discussed in brief.
