9.162

住非迹非本而顯本者，此約絕言冥會，即是非本非迹而能本迹。昔非迹而垂迹，今非本而顯本。文云：非實非虛，非如非異，如斯之事，如來明見也。

Abiding in neither trace nor original source and revealing the original source: this concerns word-transcending silent convergence; that is, being neither the original source nor the trace, yet capable of both original source and trace. In the past, being non-trace, he manifested the traces; now, being non-original, he reveals the original source. The text says: "It is neither real nor false, neither as such nor different; such matters the Tathāgata clearly sees."
