Correlating the five kinds of three truths with the four kinds of twelve links of dependent origination: The two conventional [truths] of the Shared entered by the Distinctive and the Shared entered by the Perfect are the conceivable twelve links of dependent origination of the six destinies. In the two conventional [truths] of the Distinctive and the Distinctive entered by the Perfect: the side of existence is the arising of the conceivable twelve links of dependent origination of the six destinies; the side of non-existence is the cessation of the conceivable twelve links of dependent origination. The meaning of the conventional of the Perfect extends generally (and so forth). Now, taking these four kinds of twelve links of dependent origination for the time being: the five kinds of ultimate truths are the cessation of the conceivable twelve links of dependent origination, and are also the arising of the inconceivable twelve links of dependent origination. The five kinds of middle truths are the cessation of the inconceivable twelve links of dependent origination.
